Hi Anne, Thank you for posting! I've admired those awesome backdrops and wish that we had better pictures of them. They certainly were a huge asset to the show. (Literally! :) The corn field appears prominently in pictures 18 and 41 of the OK gallery. (Also shows in several others.) So glad that we have the color shot in 41 to give a sense of its true beauty. The meadow backdrop was also spectacular. It's displayed in 29, 30, and 31. Picture-40 shows part of it in color. Since there wasn't a shot which gave an overall sense of the meadow backdrop, I did a rough reconstruction of it from the picture on page-12 of the Oklahoma scrapbook PDF. You can see the reconstruction HERE. Thank you for all you did to help create these marvelous artistic works!

How enjoyable! Thanks to everyone for the effort; especially Steve and Rosanne. It's so nice to reminisce these times. What a wonderful period in our lives and we had no idea how very fortunate we were.

Hi, Debbie, it's a pleasure to hear from you, and we are happy the website gave you a good time! I remember with respect your skill on the cello, which you brought with you when you moved to Columbia. Those were the days before we had strings instruction in the Columbia schools, and your performance was a thing of beauty to your school chums! :)

Hi Jake, Jim and Hamp, Thank you all so much for your kind comments. Hearing that folks are pleased with the site is very gratifying to Rosanne and me, and I'm sure, to all the others who helped as well. Jake, if you know anyone who has more pics of Guys and Dolls, we would love to add them to that brief gallery. We're continuing the search for those...

Wow!! Thanks for this site. Those musicals were important for me as well, I did a double major in History and Theater at USC. Gene Gatlin was a terrific English teacher as well.
